  • Radiological Toolbox User’s Guide.

The Radiological Toolbox software, hereafter referred to as the Rad Toolbox or simply Toolbox, was developed by Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). This computer application provides access to physical, chemical, anatomical, physiological, and mathematical data (and models) relevant to the protection of workers and the public from exposures to ionizing radiation. A graphical user interface enables viewing of the data and its extraction for use in computations. The data are stored in Microsoft Access databases or in flat ASCII files and, for the most part, the values are in SI units. The data can be displayed and extracted in user-specific units. Users of the Toolbox can retrieve data from eleven data collections
