This Safety Report discusses good and current state of the art practices for the safe control and operation of radiography equipment and facilities. It is recognized that this equipment may be used in countries with little or no experience in its use or without a well developed programme of radiation protection. The purpose is to provide information on safe practices to persons intending to use radiographic techniques and equipment and to governments and their Regulatory Authorities responsible for regulating such use
